The dream bike, MV Agusta F4 RR
The MV Agusta F4 RR CosaCorta, an impressive motorcycle no matter how you look at it. Starting with its 201 cv, power produced by a 998 c.c. 4-cylinder, 16-valve engine, and weighing only 192 kg, its improved chassis, the four exhaust outlets under the passenger seat, the steering damper…
Details abound that make it a very special motorcycle, starting with the frame, hand-welded, as a plate visible on one of the tubes attests, bearing witness that the factory carries out artisanal, unique work on each of its machines.
The front fork of the F4, a Marzocchi, has been replaced by an Öhlins NIX, and the rear suspension consists of a single-sided swingarm, carefully designed using the latest structural calculation technologies, and a rear shock absorber, the Öhlins Racing TTX.
The brakes are designed by Brembo, developed specifically for this motorcycle, and consist of monobloc 4-piston calipers.
With the same apparent styling as the previous F4, it remains very pointed, with imposing cooling intakes and outlets, and very aerodynamic passenger-seat curves.
MV Agusta offers many parts for customization, including carbon fiber pieces that will delight the most racing-minded users.
The only drawback is having to wait until 2012 to see it on the road. In this regard, it is quite likely that it will make a grand return to the world of SBK, but for now these are only rumors. If it does, it will be able to rub shoulders with Carlos Checa’s Ducati, Max Biaggi’s Aprilia, Ruben Xaus’s BMW…
We’ll have to start preparing our wallets.
