The Honda Integra arrives in two versions
The engine range for the new Honda Integra has already been defined; it is aimed at the mega-scooter market. It also features the second generation of the Dual Clutch Transmission, now also available for "smaller" engines.
One of the big news items in the world of scooters for next year is the Honda Integra. This model features the engine we introduced to you a few weeks ago, with a displacement of 670cc, twin-cylinder and liquid-cooled.
This engine features the second generation of the Dual Clutch Transmission from Honda, the automatic clutch that the Japanese brand already installed on its VFR1200F and that has been improved so it can also be fitted to engines of smaller displacement.
The engine has excellent torque at low and mid revs, produces low polluting emissions and, most importantly, is highly energy-efficient, consuming only 3.6 litres per 100 kilometres, which represents a 40% improvement over models in the same category.
This scooter ensures comfort on daily commutes, thanks to its riding position, protection, load capacity and ease of use. In addition, its mid-displacement engine means we can make the most of it on weekend trips and excursions, as it has a very good chassis, large-diameter wheels and long-travel suspension.
And if you want more, it features the advanced C-ABS braking system from Honda, which is undoubtedly a great safety extra. The Honda Integra will be available in two versions, one with 51.7 hp and another with 47.2 hp, which make it ideal for complying with the A2 licence rules already introduced in Spain and which will be implemented across Europe from 2013.
