Yamaha and its MT-03 on promotion

The Yamaha brand has one of its most interesting models on promotion: we’re talking about the MT-03, perhaps not a very well-known machine but a very interesting one. It is a model with a single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine, 4-valve SHOC, liquid-cooled, with a displacement of 660 cc, so it is a true thoroughbred.

On this bike, the power/R.P.M. can reach 45 CV (33.4 kW) / 6000, while the torque/R.P.M. can be 56.2 Nm at 5250 rpm. The model is fuel-injected, with dry-sump lubrication, and a multi-disc oil-bath clutch. It starts electrically via TCI, with a 5-speed gearbox and chain final drive.

The chassis is a multi-tube, diamond-type steel frame, with a 130 mm telescopic front fork and a 120 mm rear swingarm (Monocross) suspension. As for the brakes, the front is a double disc and the rear is a single disc. Therefore, this is a model with great low-end torque and at the same time plenty of agility, so you can make the most of its handling.

A machine that is perfect for any type of road, with a lightweight engine, with great power that makes acceleration instantaneous. It also comes standard with the “kodo,” which does an excellent job and gives the big-engine sound its character.
