The Kawasaki Z800, the champion, is ready for 2013
The Kawasaki brand left us speechless after EICMA 2012, as we were finally able to see what will be one of the revolutions of 2013, the Z800, a magnificent motorcycle that is going to make a lot of noise.

The Kawasaki Z800 is set to revolutionise the market. Ever since the first photos leaked to the press, many people have had their eye on this machine from the Japanese brand, but since EICMA, the Milan International Motorcycle Show, its followers have multiplied and tripled.
We are looking at a motorcycle that is the champion of the middleweight class, this bike carries in its style, its attitude and its DNA the family legacy of a saga that made history: the Z. With this new design and a unique personality, nothing like it has ever been seen before. It is a marvel that has left every passionate two-wheel enthusiast in awe.
With a displacement of 806cc, plenty of power and performance that promise tremendously exhilarating sensations. It is a four-stroke engine with four cylinders in line, liquid cooling, and 806 cm³, delivering strong torque at medium and low revs. The larger cylinder bore, in turn, increases displacement, which translates into greater performance at every rpm.
Strong torque at medium and low revs makes it easier to use day to day. Fuel injection with ultra-slim injectors and larger intake bodies with auxiliary butterflies further smooth out the gentle power delivery. This package also includes a shorter gear ratio, since the larger rear sprocket accentuates the already very powerful acceleration of the Z800.
With regard to the design of the central tubular backbone frame together with the subframe, the new connecting tube and a revised rigidity allow the rider to feel the bike better and to receive information about what the motorcycle is doing at all times, so we are looking at a chassis that is highly communicative.
Many more features, such as the 41 mm inverted fork; the shock absorber with a remote reservoir; more efficient braking; fully digital instrumentation; a riding position perfectly adapted to the rider; polished exhaust headers; an aggressive fairing; LED tail light; a sharp keel and, finally, optional ABS.
The Z800, ladies and gentlemen.
