Honda unveils its Integra Sport Concept prototype
The Honda brand has really whetted our appetite with this prototype of one of its most exciting new models, the Integra, so here you can enjoy what a sport version would look like, and it's very interesting and stylish. A true sport scooter.
The Honda brand has presented a prototype that is very interesting. It is the Integra in its Sport Concept version, an extra bonus that the Japanese brand wanted to show.
This new version came about after receiving all the proposals and designs from the Honda dealership network, so every suggestion and comment has been taken into account to shape this new version. In addition, reasonable components have been used, avoiding the temptation to incorporate unaffordable elements or modifications.
So this version is undoubtedly the sportiest, with a style fully inspired by Mike Hailwood’s Honda RC166. With the rider footpegs and the new exposed “fat bar” handlebar, it allows a riding position more typical of a motorcycle, as more weight is placed on the front wheel, favoring the Integra’s dynamics on open roads.
The aesthetics also show that extra sporty touch, with a new racing-style seat, as well as the decoration of the legendary golden-wing machines of the 60s. The main highlights are the Akrapovic exhaust, the fat bar handlebar, the racing seat, the rider footpeg set, the windscreen, the rear wheel arch, the license plate holder, the rear indicators, the mirror set, the stickers on the engine covers, and the set of sport tyres.
The downside of all this is that this Sport prototype is not planned to go on sale. Honda wanted to develop it to showcase the sporting capability of this model without compromising its qualities as a scooter, so we won’t see it on the road. A shame.
