Harley-Davidson 2012 New Models (III)
The V-Rod has been with us for ten years now, revolutionizing the entire Harley-Davidson range by introducing the brand’s first American engine with camshafts in the cylinder head, liquid cooling and a high rev limit (9,000 rpm).
Over this time, the series has evolved with different models, including one designed to compete in Dragster drag racing. It is a bike built to deliver explosive performance with a modern urban design.
For 2012, the Revolution engine version is equipped with a monstrous 1250cc V-Twin, liquid-cooled, with two camshafts in the head, four valves per cylinder and an electronic sequential fuel injection system. It is also equipped with an A&S clutch (assist and slipper), five-speed gearbox and high-performance carbon fiber belt. The braking system includes ABS on its three Brembo brake discs.
