Ducati 1199 Panigale, spotted again
Ducati's new Superbike keeps making headlines every week, and the truth is Ducati really knows its marketing.
Just a few days ago we learned that the new name for the 1199 would be Panigale, and only a few days later new photos have leaked onto the internet.
In them we can see that once again Ducati has entrusted the exhaust pipe to Termignoni.
The photos show a rather large rider, which is why many of us think this is a test to make a bike suitable for different types of riders. It will surely help create a comfortable space for a larger number of Ducatisti and will also provide better information about the capabilities of the suspension.
It’s curious to see that the rider is wearing a Stoner helmet, perhaps a bit of mischief from the Italian factory, which hasn’t received anything but jabs from him since the Australian rider left.
The 1200cc V-twin engine, which replaces the 1198, is rumored to produce 195 horsepower and to weigh around 176kg.
Even so, Ducati is keeping these details under wraps until they are revealed at the Milan Motorcycle Show on November 7.
