VQuattro Design unveils its heated gloves and jackets for winter

VQuattro has presented its heated jackets and gloves, undoubtedly perfect garments for the arrival of the cold, so the French brand from the Rider Valley group is launching its new range of products with heating generators to combat the harsh winter days on our motorcycle.
When we ride two-wheelers, the cold, to a greater or lesser extent, is something everyone who sits behind the handlebars suffers at some point during winter. Aware of the needs of the most hardened riders who make long journeys in low temperatures, those who attend winter gatherings, or those who never give up their motorcycle at any time of the year, VQuattro Design presents its range of heated jackets and gloves, with which controlling the heat is as simple as pressing a button. All of this without compromising on design or safety, qualities that characterise the French brand across all its products.
The French brand has developed its new products with ease of use in mind, so the entire range of VQuattro Design heated gloves and jackets shares common features across the different models: all of them run on 12V, which makes them easy to connect to the vehicle’s battery. They also include a connection to an external rechargeable battery, not included with the jacket, which can also be used as a powerbank thanks to its USB output. Finally, the gloves add a third operating option, as they can be plugged directly into the jacket, and they feature touch-sensitive fingertips for easy use with smartphones.
All the heated garments have three heat settings, indicated on the power button by colour (green 38º, yellow 45º and red 52º for the gloves, and blue 38º, white 45º and red 52º for the jackets), so the rider can adapt them both to the temperature and to their perceived thermal sensation.
Thanks to the perfect distribution of the heating elements, heat spreads evenly thanks to their innovative heating system based on conductive wires that runs through the entire garment, also covering the fingers evenly in the case of the gloves. It is worth highlighting how quickly the garments reach an optimal temperature, warming up in just ten seconds. What’s more, the gloves are made with PrimaLoft (135g) thermal insulation, a renowned name in skiing and outdoor gear, valued for its heat retention, quick drying, lightness and breathability. Battery life, another crucial aspect of a product of this kind, depends on the power level used, ranging from 3.15 hours on the highest heat setting to 10.30 hours on the lowest. Battery charging times range from 3 hours to 70%, and 5–6 hours to reach 100%.
