Simoncelli hopes to achieve a good result in Aragón

Marco Simoncelli will ride like the last lap of Misano extending it to the whole Aragón GP this weekend and thus continue a series of good results this season in MotoGP.

The Italian is very enthusiastic ahead of the final five races of the season and to recover from those poor results at the start of the season. On this second visit to Aragón, Marco aims to improve on what he achieved last year, where he finished seventh, less than a second behind Rossi.

Hiroshi Aoyama is determined to improve on last year’s result and prove that he has recovered his physical form.

The last lap of Misano was a fantastic moment for me – I had a great time fighting with Dovizioso and Spies, passing each other two or three times, and winning in that particular battle was nice for me and my fans. Now we have to maintain this momentum and make more noise in the final part of the season.

We are improving and I am more consistent in the last races, but the result at Misano was something I needed to fight for podium positions.

Aragón wasn’t bad last year, I like the track and I have hopes of having a good race. We need to improve our training pace so we can fight for better grid positions, returning to what we were achieving at the start of the season.

I feel very happy in the team and I am very motivated to achieve better results.

I could have finished with a better result at Misano, but I am happy because I have regained confidence with the bike and I am also physically better.

I am in good shape to improve my results in the final races of the season, starting in Aragón. I know I didn’t do well last year, but I feel I can improve after Misano.

Living in Barcelona makes me feel like it is a home race for me, and I want to do a great job there.

We are in good shape to do well and with the team’s help I can achieve it. We are improving and becoming as competitive as we were at the start of the season.

After a last lap as exciting and satisfying as Marco’s at Misano, there is a feeling in the team of high expectations for the final races of the season.

“Sic” has shown his great potential in the home race, and I am sure he will improve much more at the end of the season and will achieve the results that slipped away from him in the early races of the year. He feels better with the bike and is getting stronger all the time; his relationship with the team will lead him to great things.

Marco has the ability to give us many things to celebrate at the end of the season.

Hiroshi Aoyama has had a very difficult period since his crash at Assen, but he has regained his confidence and is in good shape. I predict a good end of season for him, similar to the start he had.
