Nicky Hayden won't debut his Ducati GP11.1 until Laguna Seca
Rider Nicky Hayden won’t debut his Ducati GP11.1 MotoGP at the Sachsenring circuit, but will supposedly do so at the next race at Laguna Seca.
So the American is once again left wanting to test his new machine, as he commented on Twitter, posting a photo of his GP11.1 and saying he still can’t ride it yet, but will do so at the next race in the United States.
While his teammate Valentino Rossi has been using this GP11.1 since the Assen test, we don’t quite understand why one has it and the other doesn’t, but the team has decided that Hayden will debut this new Ducati at Laguna Seca.
In my opinion, the 69 isn’t too thrilled about debuting the evolution at home, at his own circuit, without testing it first, since the result could be difficult without knowing the bike, the feeling and everything that comes with it. And of course Hayden doesn’t want to end up at the back of the race… but that’s what he’s been dealt.
It could also be that he quickly gets the feeling, but we’ll have to wait another week to see it live on the American track.
What do you think?
