Max Biaggi and Aprilia finish the MotoGP test at Mugello

Former rider Max Biaggi has had three very busy days at the Mugello Circuit, where in recent days he has been working and testing one of the most interesting Open-class machines, the ART MotoGP. He has therefore continued his collaboration with one of his benchmark brands, Aprilia, which, as always, greatly values having the advice and experience of a legend like the Corsaro.
Biaggi covered a lot of ground over these three days, specifically 176 laps of the Italian track, setting a best time of 1:50.94 on Wednesday morning. However, the most important thing over these three days was drawing conclusions and advice from a man with so much competitive experience.
The Italian was able to provide useful data for the development of the bike currently competing in the MotoGP World Championship and for the new prototype that Aprilia will use from 2016 in the premier class.
Statements from Max Biaggi:
The balance of these three days is definitely positive from every point of view: the adaptation to the bike, the tyres, the brakes, not to mention the physical effort, which becomes significant with so many laps, especially if you haven’t ridden a bike in a while.
We have done a good job, we have been able to evaluate the different solutions available, and I think I have given the team some good ideas. On this last day we focused mainly on medium- and long-term work, trying therefore to define the path to follow. Logically, with so much testing it is also easy to lose your bearings a little, but by proceeding methodically and step by step, important results can be achieved.
