Marc Márquez dazzles at the MotoGP round in Australia, Rossi 2nd and Viñales 3rd
Marc Márquez wins the MotoGP race in Australia, with Rossi 2nd and Viñales 3rd. Dovi 13th.

The MotoGP World Championship was the last to head out onto the Phillip Island track in Australia, where we saw a race that was extremely interesting, exciting and full of changes throughout, so total anticipation for the second race of this 2017 season’s Asian tour.
The start was incredible for Jack Miller, who started from the second row of the grid. Without a doubt, the Australian wanted to achieve a great result at home, on his own circuit, and what he did was incredible, especially considering his physical condition.
The Australian went all out, building up a 0.8s gap over Márquez, who was the closest chaser, but the 93 was not alone, as behind him came Maverick Viñales, Johann Zarco and a long etc. At that very moment we saw Mack overtake Marc. Wanting to take advantage of this situation, Zarco, the Frenchman, pushed his bike in too hard and ran a bit wide, nearly causing Márquez’s crash and his own. Luckily it ended as a scare, with both losing positions at the front.
With 22 laps to go we saw Miller make a small mistake, which left Rossi in the lead, followed by Maverick, with Márquez and Zarco right behind. This group really stepped up and put on some very interesting laps full of overtakes, with none of them able to escape at the front. But when 14 laps remained, we saw Rossi manage to overtake Zarco to take the lead, chased very closely by the Frenchman. Yet another change came with 9 laps to go, when Márquez once again gave it everything and rejoined the group in third position, but it was impossible to tell who would win from the group.
Maximum tension at the front of the race, but Marc managed to break away with 4 laps to go, when Zarco and Rossi got into a full-on battle, with Iannone and Maverick involved too, so between them all they gave wings to the one from Honda.
Finally, victory for Márquez, his sixth of the season, completing the top 10 with Rossi 2nd, Viñales 3rd, Zarco 4th, Crutchlow 5th, Iannone 6th, Miller 7th, Rins 8th, Pol Espargaró 9th and Smith 10th. With this result Marc leads the championship with 33 points over Dovizioso. The Italian did not have his day at the Australian track, finishing 13th after a problem in the final part of the round, letting Redding and Pedrosa pass him.
Now Marc has the first match ball in Malaysia, although it will be difficult to achieve it at the Sepang track, but anything can happen.
On to Sepang.
