Tito Rabat and Martín Cárdenas ready for Indianapolis Moto2

The Blusens-STX riders arrive at the American round with different motivations: Tito wants to keep up his good results, and Cárdenas wants to prove that they were right to choose him as Yonny’s replacement.

Tito hopes to consolidate himself among the top ten in the category after his positive performance at the Czech Republic round. For his part, the Colombian Martín Cárdenas is replacing Yonny Hernández, who was injured at Brno.

For Cárdenas, it will be like coming home, since he took part with Team BQR in the 2006 World Championship riding a Honda 250cc. However, he will need to adapt to handling the Moto2 bike of the Blusens-STX team.

I am looking forward to the Indianapolis race. I have been training on the bike and in the gym to arrive as well prepared as possible.

The result at Brno encourages me and I would like to continue along that path, but I am aware that it is difficult. We are going to try to achieve our goals but without pressure. I like the circuit, but it is not easy, and even less so in a category like Moto2. If we manage to be in the top ten, we will consider the result a good one.

I hope Martín feels comfortable in the team and that he can enjoy taking part in this race, but I must admit that I would have liked my regular teammate Yonny to be here. That would mean he had not suffered any harm.

What can I say? It is a fantastic opportunity. It is incredible to be able to race this Moto2 event, a category with an extremely high level in both teams and riders.

I hope to have a good race and give the team a good result. I would have preferred my participation not to be due to Yonny’s injury, but I am sure he will recover very soon.
