Zero Motorcycles has presented its new FXE model, a model that arrives to quicken the pulse of riders and offer an exciting, unique riding experience, and to revolutionize the two-wheeler sector.
The spectacular design is signed by Bill Webb of Huge Design, co-founder of this renowned Californian design studio. The FXE exudes a cutting-edge look designed to become the benchmark of the two-wheeler world. It now features full LED lighting and a new full-color TFT instrument cluster. Dynamically, it is powered by the Z-Force 75-5 motor delivering 34 kW (45.5 hp) of power and 106 Nm of torque, allowing it to reach a top speed of 137 km/h. With Z-Force 7.2 kWh batteries and the Cypher II operating system management, it offers 161 kilometers of range in the city.
Weighing just 135 kilos, the new FXE is an endless source of sensations for enjoying 100% electric riding. It is a lightweight motorcycle, with no clutch or gear changes, and very easy to handle for weaving through traffic like a fish in water, and for enjoying the open road thanks to its upright, comfortable riding position.
In the chassis, fully adjustable suspension signed by specialist Showa stands out, while Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tires come as standard. Braking is by J.Juan with Bosch ABS, all top-tier components to equip Zero Motorcycles’ latest creation, whose seat height is 836 millimeters from the ground.
The new Zero FXE, in versions for A2 license and 11 kW versions for A1 and B+3 licenses, will be available at official dealerships starting in September at a price of 13,880 euros.
