The new and long-awaited jewel from the Bavarian brand is starting to appear in dealerships across our country. That is why BMW Motorrad invites you to get to know the new R 1200 GS firsthand from March 14th at the ‘Start of Season’ event that BMW will be hosting at the brand’s official dealerships throughout Spain.

If you hold a motorcycle license and are thinking about buying the new German globetrotter, all you have to do is visit your nearest BMW dealership on March 14th. The BMW R 1200 GS will be presented nationwide there, and you could be one of the lucky ones to discover it and learn about its innovative features firsthand.

The BMW R 1200 GS, has reigned over its segment for decades, and which we already talked about here a couple of months ago, features a four-stroke, air- and oil-cooled Boxer twin engine with four valves per cylinder arranged radically. With all of this, this trail delivers 110 hp of power with a maximum torque of 120 Nm at 6000 rpm.

Ready for any type of terrain thanks to its increased rigidity in the frame and its improved Paralever rear suspension system with WAD shock absorber and Telelever front suspension with five-position adjustable preload provide greater steering precision and once again make the R 1200 GS the benchmark in the world of trail bikes.

In addition, it features the Dynamic ESA system that automatically adapts the suspension to the terrain and load, the integral and switchable ABS from BMW Motorrad with its dual 305mm front discs and four fixed calipers, and riding modes, although the latter is an optional extra.
