The new edition of the Harley-Davidson Street Bob 2013
The Harley-Davidson brand presents us with another of its new models for 2013: the Street Bob special edition, so the arrival of a new bet from the American brand, which continues to unveil its most special editions in a magical year.
The Harley-Davidson brand presented two new models for 2013, the first of which is the Breakout, while the second model is the new Street Bob Special Edition.
This model is a unique machine, a pure Bobber, but taken to the extreme, its inspiration being the Harley-Davidson’s Factory Customization personalization program. It is a spectacular machine, strictly limited edition, which will only be available in international markets, including Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The Street Bob has undergone a restyling for 2013. It is a bold, unadorned Bobber, based on the Harley-Davidson Dyna platform and aimed at riders who appreciate the pure essence of motorcycling: a powerful, purely American-style V-Twin engine at the heart of a motorcycle with attractive, simple lines, equipped only with the essentials. The new edition steps up with a 1690 cc engine that delivers the unmistakable rumble of a Harley.
It features a two-tone paint scheme with wavy pinstripes and eye-catching wheels with steel spokes and red rims, making it a motorcycle that stands out for both its look and its rumble, offering first-class Bobber styling and a comprehensive standard equipment list, such as ABS brakes, which raise its specifications to never-before-seen levels.
The elements that define the Street Bob remain present on the 2013 Special Edition, such as the solo seat, the cut-down rear fender, the mini Ape-Hanger handlebars, among others, these being the hallmark features of that unmistakable profile. The design updates include a black TwinCam 103 engine with highlighted details, a darkened front end and a cleaner rear fender, with combined rear brake, position and turn signal lights.
Some of the key features of the Street Bob Special Edition are that it has the V-Twin Twin Cam 103 engine mounted on rubber isolators, with sequential electronic fuel injection (ESPFI) system, producing 95.9 ft. lbs. of torque. The red steel-spoke wheels measure 19″ at the front and 17″ at the rear, while the two-tone paint is Big Blue Pearl/Vivid Black.
The Wrinkle Black die-cast console runs along the entire tank, with an integrated ignition switch, the cut-down rear fender and clear rear section with combined taillights, brake lights and turn signals, giving it a minimalist Bobber look with exposed fender struts. The rubber-isolated handlebar risers, with a forged top clamp to reduce vibration and ease customization. The chrome exhaust with overlapping short dual mufflers.
A marvel.
