The electric maxiscooter from BMW, the new C-Evolution concept
The BMW brand is betting on new technologies and continues working on its C-Evolution model, an electric maxiscooter that comes with many innovations and is generating a great deal of anticipation. The path taken by this German brand is very interesting, and we will see how these models are received on the street.
Last summer BMW presented a maxiscooter that has been met with great interest for its innovation. We are talking about the C Evolution model, which we mentioned in an article about the new technologies and fuels on two wheels. But now we have more information about this machine, a motorcycle that faithfully anticipates the future of urban mobility.
BMW has announced that this machine’s range is 100 km, and it offers sufficient performance to leave the city with confidence. It is therefore not only an urban machine, but also a good option for medium-distance travel, reaching a top speed of 120 km/h. The C Evolution’s motor delivers 15 CV sustainably, and can reach peaks of up to 47 CV.

Statements from Christian Ebner, Head of Development of the BMW C Evolution:
All new models are important for BMW Motorrad, but there is no doubt that the arrival of the C Evolution will mark the beginning of a new chapter in the brand’s history. I believe it will provide a real electric solution for urban travel. We have researched extensively, and successfully, in the field of mobility in order to develop a high-voltage battery that delivers a riding sensation comparable to that of conventional C maxiscooters.
Statements from Dorit Mangold, Project Manager of the BMW C Evolution:
It is a fast model, capable of reaching 120 km/h, that enables full urban mobility along with the ability to park anywhere. In addition, thanks to the high torque of the electric motor, it offers extremely effective and rapid acceleration. It can also be easily recharged from any domestic socket and offers a range of 100 kilometers.
