The Ducati Diavel Strada continues to amaze the sector

The Ducati Diavel Strada is a true marvel; every time we see it, we like it more and more. It is a very exuberant model, with plenty of character and without losing an ounce of absolute comfort, with many details meticulously cared for and with innovative solutions and specific equipment such as side bags, a windscreen, a new seat and a raised handlebar, which make this motorcycle the ideal solution for those who want a powerful yet versatile bike, to dominate the asphalt even over long distances.

The Diavel project was born when the designers at Ducati applied their desire for a bike of “basic instincts”, with the idea of creating a dream motorcycle. They achieved sinuous shapes that inspired a low and long motorcycle, undoubtedly a fluid silhouette over an engine derived from the competition one. With the front wheel close to the body of the Diavel, and a short tail as on a sportbike, we have managed to blend this muscular design with a matching chassis.

For the engine they have opted for an L-twin, the Testastretta 11°, with Desmodromic timing, 4 valves per cylinder and liquid cooling, with a displacement of 1198.4cc; with a power of 162 HP at 9500 rpm, a torque of 127.5 NM at 8000 rpm, electronic fuel injection Mitsubishi, elliptical Mikuni injection bodies with a ride-by-wire system, making it a true thoroughbred of the Italian brand.

The presence of the Diavel is dominant and confident, bordering on superiority. With side radiators, a massive 240mm-wide tyre is the ideal example of how the Diavel’s designers have built a motorcycle without compromises, while the rear tyre gives it so much presence and style that the development department had to find a way to make it manageable. The Diavel is an authentic Ducati, born from a passion for two wheels and designed to deliver genuine performance from the Italian house in any situation. Incorporating the latest technology, including electronic Riding Modes, all of which can be switched from the left-hand control cluster, even while riding. The three Riding Modes combine leading technologies, such as the Ride-by-Wire electronic throttle and Ducati Traction Control (DTC).
