Takaaki Nakagami tops the 2019 MotoGP pre-season test at Jerez as the fastest rider
Takaaki Nakagami the fastest in the 2019 MotoGP test at Jerez

Rider Takaaki Nakagami has managed to be the fastest in the second 2019 pre-season test of the MotoGP World Championship at the Jerez Circuit, so after the first taste of the track a few days ago, the teams and riders of the motorcycling’s premier class returned to the track to keep working on preparations for next year.
The Japanese rider was the big surprise in the combined times of this test, as on the second day he set a time of 1:37.945, the best, aboard his Honda, so this appearance by other riders and teams is quite interesting. Behind him, Danilo Petrucci, on his official Ducati, finished 0.023s off the leader.
Behind them were Márquez in 3rd, Viñales 4th, Lorenzo 5th, Morbidelli 6th, Dovizioso 7th, Miller 9th and 10th Rins. The rest of our riders finished with Bautista 13th, Rabat 14th, Mir 15th, Polyccio 17th, Aleix 20th.
After the test, it was reported that Márquez will go under the knife to try to fix problems he has in his left shoulder, but he wanted to close the pre-season in this 2018.
The next MotoGP track date will be the Sepang test, on February 6, 7 and 8. Now is the time to rest after a long and intense season.
On to the next taste of the track.
