The Spanish Classic Motocross Championship was held in Cáceres and was a great success in terms of participation

The Spanish Classic Motocross Championship had its second round of the 2020 calendar in Pueblonuevo de Miramontes, Cáceres, where we saw almost 80 riders competing in a race at the El Vivero Circuit. The track was in perfect condition throughout the morning, and the riders gave their all at every start.
The timed training sessions for Evo and Super Evo left Adrián García as the fastest, followed by Juan Prieto and Christian López. In both heats the result for first and second place was the same, going to García and Prieto. Third place, however, was taken by different riders: Jorge Gali in the first heat and Yeray Barra in the second.
On the EVO podium were Christian López, Guillermo Díaz and Andrés Fernández, and on the Super Evo podium Adrián García, Juan Prieto and Yeray Barra.
Fernando de Portugal was the best in the Twinshock timed sessions. José Luis Hernández and Juan Morales finished second and third, respectively. In the first heat for this category De Portugal won, with Morales and Alberto Galeote behind him, but in the second Hernández took the win, Enrique Romero had to settle for second and De Portugal finished third. Francisco Javier Florez, Enrique Romero and Nicolás Rodríguez stepped onto the Twinshock podium, and Fernando de Portugal, Alberto Galeote and Juan Morales onto the Twinshock +50 podium.
Jordi Casas set the fastest time in 80cc. Manuel Ramírez and Juan Antonio Ramírez were behind him. Both heats produced the same result, but in the first Casas won and in the second Jordi Garriga did. Ramírez repeated as third in both. In 80 Evo, José Antonio Ramírez, Luis Arias and José Miguel Macho del Olmo were the top three; in 80 Evo Protos, Jordi Garriga, Jordi Casas and Manuel Ramírez; and in 80 Twinshock, Alejandro Rubiera, Juan Luis Riera and Raúl Fernández.
In 125 Pre-83, 125 Twinshock and Pre78, Jairo García, Jorge Rodrigo Antezana and Pedro Jordán took the top three overall positions in the timed sessions. In these categories, Jairo won both heats, and Antezana finished second in both. Juan Antonio Ojanguren crossed the line third in the first heat and Juan José Hernández in the second.
