Stoner's MotoGP test in Japan falls through due to bad weather

Former rider Casey Stoner was ultimately unable to make the most of these test days at the Motegi Circuit alongside Honda. The bad weather left him eager to ride, unable to try either the Honda customer racers or the prototype of the top category for the 2014 season.
The weather conditions kept worsening as the hours went by, so HRC decided to cancel the second day of testing at the Japanese track, leaving everyone eager to see the Australian on both Honda’s, the customer racers that have been drawing so much attention, as well as the prototype for next season.
For now, we won’t be able to see the customer racers in action, nor the prototype, so we’ll have to wait for the next test by the Japanese brand, which is scheduled for October at the same Motegi track and will also feature Casey Stoner. We hope the weather allows both the Japanese manufacturer and the rider to work.
In short, nothing tested, no news, and the bikes stay in the garage. We’ll have to wait for feedback at the next test scheduled for Honda, although in the meantime they keep working from the brand’s development centres to present the long-awaited Honda customer racers that everyone wants, and of course the new factory machine for its official riders in the top category.
