Marc Márquez clinches the MotoGP double at the Motegi Circuit in Japan
Rider Marc Márquez has clinched the MotoGP World Championship double at the Motegi Circuit in Japan, and is closing in on the championship leader.

The MotoGP World Championship went racing this Sunday in the long race at the Motegi Circuit, in Japan, where a very busy weekend is unfolding among the riders and teams of the World Championship in this 16th round of the calendar.
Rider Jorge Martín started from pole position on the Japanese track, but with Marc Márquez glued to his rear wheel from the very start, so there was plenty of anticipation between the two main protagonists of the Championship. Marco Bezzecchi has also stayed very close to the two riders, but without being able to get involved in their battle. Meanwhile, we watched Álex Márquez complete his double long lap penalty for the incident in the superpole race.
On lap 5 we saw Martín and Marc Márquez break away from the group and the fight for the victory in the Japanese Grand Prix began, leaving the excitement of these opening laps to the battle for the intermediate positions in the race.
Marc Márquez took the lead on lap 11 of the race, but Martín did not pull away at first; afterwards he could no longer keep up with the 93 and settled for second place on the Japanese track. Meanwhile, the excitement focused on Pedro Acosta’s comeback, who was charging through from behind like a rocket. For his part, Álex Márquez crashed on lap 19, a shame after a complicated weekend for the 73.
Finally, Marc Márquez secured victory in the long race on the Motegi track, followed by Jorge Martín and Marco Bezzecchi. The top 10 was completed by Bastianini 4th, Fernández 5th, Ogura 6th, Acosta 7th, Bagnaia 8th, Aldeguer 9th and Marini 10th. With this result, Marc Márquez is just 2 points behind the leader, Jorge Martín.
Maximum anticipation for Indonesia.
