Spies and Lorenzo eager to get to Misano

The Yamaha Factory Racing team is ready for the next event of the MotoGP World Championship season at the Misano Marco Simoncelli Circuit. Both Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies arrive at the event on Italian soil after the tests at the Brno Circuit and Motorland Aragón, which were undoubtedly very demanding days of testing and trials, but also interesting for this end of season of the MotoGP World Championship.

After those training days, it was time to rest and train a little more ahead of the event in Italy, where Lorenzo claimed victory last season. He arrives eager and with a 13-point lead over his closest rival, certainly making for a most exciting end to the championship, with the next round at the San Marino track. For his part, Ben Spies comes in fully charged and eager to achieve a good result after a very difficult season for the American.

Both riders face the race in different ways. For Jorge, it will be another battle against Dani, trying to increase his distance and advantage over the 26, while for Spies it will be the race to return to action, to have no more problems and achieve a good position, the fine-tuning that began at Motorland Aragón during the private training sessions.

We are heading to Misano, a track I really like and where I had a great victory last year and several podiums. We continue to lead the championship, and we have to work very hard this weekend to increase the advantage. We are going for the podium and, if possible, for the victory.
