Royal Enfield shows the first images of the Himalayan
The Indian brand Royal Enfield is starting to become quite popular in the international market, although its annual production still does not reach 150,000 units a year across all models, such as the Royal Enfield Himalayan, of which we can see an image from the factory, published by Indian media
Royal Enfield is one of those motorcycle brands that will not be, at least for now, a best-seller, but that knows how to take good care of its motorcycles, and today it presents the images of one of its new models, the Royal Enfield Himalayan, from inside the factory. This means it will still take a little while to be available in our market.
There is no official information about the new model, but the images show what this model is going to look like. Its design presumably involved the company Harris Performance, a design firm that was recently acquired by Royal Enfield, so its contribution should already be evident in this model.
As we said, there are no official reports on the equipment of this motorcycle, although several Indian media outlets talk about a 410 cc engine that will deliver 30 hp, which is being tuned during these months before being definitively installed in this model. It is also mentioned that the rev range will rise on the Himalayan up to 7,000 rpm, which will give it considerable thrust and make it quite exciting.
With this model, Royal Enfield intends to close the year with the launch of three new models based on two different platforms and to increase production to 150,000 units a year. We will be watching for any news about this model, and as soon as the brand is ready to release the specifications of this new motorcycle from the Indian company, we will be able to know whether it is a good option for fans of this type of motorcycle, which this brand promotes and which is becoming more and more popular.
