Promotion on the Ducati Monster 696 and 796

The Ducati brand has launched a new promotion on some of its models, specifically the Ducati Monster 696 and the 796. So don’t think too long about it, since this promotion will be valid until April 30, 2013. Don’t miss it and enjoy these great models from the Italian brand, two pure beasts for the asphalt.

For the Ducati Monster 696, a promotion of €1,000 has been prepared, as a bonus and a gift of Generali by Peris insurance or a Ducati 60’S jacket, although all of this will be better if you check with the Italian brand’s dealership. This model is a true experience, with an L-Twin engine, Desmo 2 valves per cylinder, 4-stroke; a displacement of 696 cc; a maximum power of 80 hp (58.8 kW) at 9,000 rpm, and a maximum torque of 50.6 Nm (7.0 kgm) at 7,750 rpm.

In the fuel injection section, Siemens electronics have been chosen, a 45 mm throttle body, the ignition is electronic digital CDI, and the clutch is a multi-disc oil-bath type with APTC hydraulic actuation. For its part, the chassis is a multi-tubular steel Trellis, while the swingarm is a double-sided aluminum arm. As for the suspensions, the front is a fully adjustable Showa inverted fork, while the rear is a progressive type with a fully adjustable Sachs monoshock. For the front brake, it has been decided to use two semi-floating Brembo discs, Brembo radial 4-piston calipers, and for the rear, a disc with a 2-piston caliper.

The other model on promotion is the Monster 796, which specifically has a bonus of 484 euros. A machine with an L-Twin engine, Desmo 2 valves per cylinder, 4-stroke, a displacement of 803 cc, with a maximum power of 87 hp (64 kW) at 8,250 rpm, while the maximum engine torque is 78 Nm (8.0 kgm) at 6,250 rpm, with Siemens electronic fuel injection, a 45 mm throttle body, and electronic digital CDI ignition. For the clutch, a multi-disc oil-bath type with APTC hydraulic actuation has been chosen, and the transmission has 6 speeds.

The chassis is multi-tubular Trellis steel, with a double-sided aluminum swingarm, and for the suspensions, the front is a Showa inverted fork, and the rear is progressive with a fully adjustable Sachs monoshock for extension and preload. The brakes are dual disc with a 4-piston radial caliper (ABS) for the front, and a disc with a 2-piston caliper for the rear.
