Presentation of the Cardion AB Motoracing MotoGP team with Abraham
The Cardion AB Motoracing team has been presented in Prague alongside its rider Karel Abraham, who has seen the final design of what will be his MotoGP CRT ART machine for the coming season of the premier class. There is great interest in seeing what this rider can achieve after a complicated season, and now with his new fight in the subcategory.
The Cardion AB Motoracing MotoGP World Championship team was presented last week, so we already have Repsol Honda and the Ducati Team with their machines presented and unveiled. On this occasion there was news, since let us remember that this team is leaving satellite bikes behind and joining the CRTs. Specifically, Karel Abraham will have in his hands the model that was champion in the first edition of its participation: he will ride an ART.
So we have now the presentation of the MotoGP CRT ART 2013 of the Cardion AB Motoracing team, the machine with which they will take part in the 2013 season of the motorcycle world championship in the premier class. The setting for this unveiling was the former chapel of Sacré-Cœur, in one of the most well-known parts of Prague. Therefore, everything is ready for the start of pre-season, although Abraham was already able to test his new MotoGP at the 2012 Valencia test, but now we saw the CRT in its colours and final design.
The Czech rider leaves his Ducati behind and must adapt to one of the newly created bikes, the CRTs, with which he hopes to achieve good results in the subcategory and, why not, put in a good performance against the satellites.
Statements from Karel Abraham:
I know that bikes don’t go faster because they have a beautiful design, but I have to say that I am excited about this year’s design. We have been focused on the same base for years and now I feel it is close to perfection. I hope that on track we will have a similar level of perfection. My goal is always to be one of the best CRT riders. And I believe there will be opportunities during the season to compete with the prototypes, since there are circuits where the differences between the CRT bikes and the prototypes will be eliminated. I had very good feelings with the ART at Valencia in the first test, especially with its performance in the corners. The engine should be better now and I am eager to try the bike at Sepang.
