Yesterday the MotoGP Grand Prix at the Motorland Aragón Circuit came to a close with a test for the premier class on Michelin tyres, so a group of thirteen riders stayed on the Aragonese track to test the French tyres that will come into play from the 2016 season onwards.
The final test with these tyres had been planned after the race at the Brno track, but poor weather conditions meant another date had to be found to carry out the work and the relevant tests.
Michelin has provided four different front tyres, as well as three dry rear tyres, to the liking of Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) and so that Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda Team) could try them. The other participants in the test were Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda Team), Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team), Aleix Espargaró (Team Suzuki ECSTAR), Stefan Bradl and Álvaro Bautista (Aprilia Racing Team Gresini), Bradley Smith and Pol Espargaró (Monster Yamaha Tech 3), Scott Redding (Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS), Cal Crutchlow and Jack Miller (LCR Honda) and Danilo Petrucci (Octo Pramac Racing). The winner of the Aragón Grand Prix, Jorge Lorenzo, decided after the race not to take part in the test.
Another interesting moment came when we saw Tito Rabat getting onto the Honda of Marc VDS Racing, undoubtedly a good prize after his victory at the Aragonese track in the Moto2 class, but everything points to this being one of many images of Tito with the Japanese machine in the Marc VDS line-up.
A lot of work to try to adapt to these tyres.
