Maverick Viñales tops the MotoGP 2017 test at Jerez
The 2017 MotoGP World Championship has held an official test at the Jerez Circuit, where Maverick Viñales was the fastest, followed by Márquez and Pedrosa.

The MotoGP World Championship held an official training session yesterday at the Jerez Circuit after the race held last Sunday, so the riders returned to the Andalusian track to work on setting up their respective machines and also with the tyres.
The fastest rider of the training day was Maverick Viñales, who set a time of 1:38.635, being one of the riders who completed the most laps throughout the day at the Andalusian track; while in second place was Marc Márquez, who stayed very close to the Yamaha rider, specifically just 0.002s behind. The 93 was another of the riders who completed the most laps, with 96 laps.
Afterwards we saw Dani Pedrosa, who was 3rd, and Aleix Espargaró, 4th, were the only ones along with the first two to run in the 1:38, while the rest went over 1:39. The top 10 was completed by Andrea Dovizioso 5th, Lorenzo 6th, Crutchlow 7th, Barberá 8th, Zarco 9th and Redding 10th. The rest of our riders finished Tito Rabat 12th, Pol Espargaró 16th.
One of the big surprises was seeing Sylvain Guintoli ride the Suzuki, he completed just 37 laps aboard the Japanese machine, and his best time was 2.625s behind the fastest. Without a doubt, it is interesting to see the veteran French rider in action again.
The rider who completed the most laps on this day was Márquez with a total of 96 laps at the Andalusian track, while Takuya Tsuda clocked 95 laps at Jerez, so many riders made the most of this test after the first four races of the 2017 MotoGP World Championship season.
The next event will be at the Le Mans Circuit.
