Lorenzo and Spies with good feeling for Laguna Seca MotoGP
The Yamaha Factory Racing riders arrive at Laguna Seca eager to go all out, with a good feeling for both riders, Ben Spies and Jorge Lorenzo.
The Yamaha Factory Racing riders arrive at the next event eager, with both Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies landing at the MotoGP World Championship round at Laguna Seca, where the 99 arrives as leader and eager to keep fighting in this very special arena for the riders of the premier class.
Lorenzo has always gone strong at this circuit. In 2010 he achieved a great victory from pole position, and in 2011 he finished second despite a heavy crash that left him quite battered for the race and physically drained.
For his part, Ben Spies is returning home, to one of the two rounds held in the United States, undoubtedly an extra boost for the 11 on his Yamaha. He will therefore try to resolve the problems he has been carrying and to tackle a race in proper condition and without serious issues. It is time to start lifting his head and showing his riding.
Laguna Seca is here, the corkscrew is coming, where we will see a very intense battle among the MotoGP riders, above all Pedrosa, Lorenzo and Stoner continuing their usual fight at the front.
Statements from Jorge Lorenzo:
Apart from the disaster at Assen, we have been very strong this season and always fighting for first or second place. Fortunately, we have been able to extend the lead a little more. We have had good races here at Laguna in MotoGP and we are always on the podium. I love the circuit, the corkscrew is fun, and the American fans always create an incredible atmosphere.
