Jorge Lorenzo and his Hot Wheels event in Barcelona

The rider Jorge Lorenzo was this morning at El Corte Inglés on Diagonal signing autographs for his fans and presenting his new releases together with Hot Wheels, including his car that will be released in 2012 and his limited-edition collection of t-shirts and caps.

Rider Jorge Lorenzo spent this morning at El Corte Inglés on Diagonal in Barcelona, together with all his fans and followers, to present his new Hot Wheels car, along with a limited collection of t-shirts and caps specially designed by the MotoGP rider.

The event was a complete success: the queue to see the Mallorcan kept growing and growing, which shows the passion fans have for the 2010 MotoGP world champion. For his part, Lorenzo greeted each one of them with great kindness, signing posters, t-shirts and boxes of his special Hot Wheels track.

The truth is that “el 99” has had a very busy few days, with visits to Madrid, Barcelona, and on Monday he is due in Andorra. That means plenty of pre-season activities before a well-deserved break, so he can arrive at full strength for the next season, and with plenty of desire to keep working on his 1000cc Yamaha, although he will have to wait a little longer for that.

The autograph signing started at 12 AM and ended at 2 PM. Hundreds of fans passed by the brand’s special stand, not wanting to let this opportunity slip by, and many curious onlookers who were lucky enough to coincide with the Yamaha rider in Barcelona also took home a garment and a nice dedicated autograph.
