Johann Zarco takes pole position for the MotoGP World Championship at Sachsenring
Rider Johann Zarco takes pole position for the MotoGP World Championship at the Sachsenring Circuit, Quartararo 2nd and Aleix Espargaró 3rd

The MotoGP World Championship was the next to hit the track at the Sachsenring Circuit to battle for pole position at the German Grand Prix, so there was huge anticipation among the riders of the premier class.
The first to head out were the riders who had failed to secure a place in the top 10 of the combined practice sessions at the German track, with Lorenzo Savadori crashing during the session, and as the Suzuki, the Aprilias and Pol Espargaró fought for the two spots giving access to Q2, with Álex Rins and Pol Espargaró ultimately making it through.
And the moment of truth arrived, Q2, where we saw Marc Márquez first at the start of the official practice session, so there was great anticipation to see the 93 at the front again, but with 9 minutes left, the dominant force, Fabio Quartararo, reappeared to take the fastest time.
With 2 minutes to go, we saw Johann Zarco take the lead, but on the very next lap he crashed. Without a doubt, the Frenchman is flying with his Ducati. Despite the crash, the 5 still managed to take pole position at the Sachsenring circuit, a great result for Zarco, who set a time of 1:20.236, although Quartararo was just 0.011s behind, so there is very close competition at the front of the grid.
A very important result for Aleix Espargaró, who will start 3rd with his Aprilia, while the top 12 was completed by Miller, Marc, Oliveira, Martin, Pol, Nakagami, Bagnaia, Rins and Álex Márquez.
On to the race.
