Interview with Toni Elías on Radio Estadio del Motor

Last week, the rider Toni Elías spoke with Radio Estadio Motor, a programme he joined to discuss his situation, how the race at the Brno circuit went and how the event at Indianapolis could go.

The truth is that it is no secret that the Catalan’s season has been the most complicated since he arrived in the World Motorcycle Championship. The #24 has not had an easy readaptation to the MotoGP category, and the team has not helped him much with the problems.

What always delights us about Elías is that he never gives up. He always fights, he overcomes every complicated situation and battles on. So we are sure that he will not surrender and that he will push hard until the end of the season to improve at each of the upcoming rounds of the championship.

Luckily, things seem to have improved a little after the race in Brno§h9%. It appears they have found something and have also solved some problems. In addition, the test after the round was very positive, despite the scare from the crash during practice.

From my humble point of view, what Elías really needs at this moment is a united team, with a shared objective, and for everyone to improve at the same time. Rather than blaming a single member (usually Toni) for the situation they are going through, nor pressuring him in such a way, since that kind of thinking can distract everyone.

During the interview, Elías was also asked about the situation in Japan. As he is a satellite team rider, it is complicated for him to prove himself, since others have more power, so he will have to do what the brand says. Regarding Suzuka, he commented that it is a very beautiful circuit, one of the most beautiful, but that it does not meet the safety requirements.

Without a doubt, a very entertaining interview, after which Alberto Gómez and Valentín Requena are added, two specialists in the world of motorcycling. Don’t miss the podcast.
