Fabio Quartararo takes the MotoGP World Championship pole position in Indonesia
Rider Fabio Quartararo has secured pole position in MotoGP at Indonesia.

The World Motorcycling Championship pole position battle across all three categories took place early this morning at the Indonesian Circuit in Mandalika, where we saw plenty of action and also some crashes.
The MotoGP category was the last to hit the track. While the riders who failed to make the top 10 in the combined practice sessions fought for the first two spots in Q1, Bagnaia and Di Giannantonio came out on top and advanced to Q2. Meanwhile, Marc Márquez went down and lost his chance to sneak into Q2.
Then came the moment of truth for the premier class, with Fabio Quartararo proving the fastest, as the track seems to suit the French rider. He secured pole position with a time of 1:31.067, leaving Jorge Martín in second place, 0.213s behind. The top 12 was completed by Zarco, Binder, Bastianini, Bagnaia, Oliveira, Rins, Miller, Aleix Espargaró, Di Giannantonio and Morbidelli.
On to the race.
