Everything ready for the Red Bull Give Me Five in Madrid

The first edition of Red Bull Give Me Five, the exclusive circuit that combines Supercross and Motocross and has been meticulously designed by Pierre Senac and Fly Group, is taking shape. Specifically, the track includes many lines and a straight start with a double jump that riders will have to tackle right off the gate. It also features a banked turn right at the starting line and a rhythm section. The starting grid will be elevated so that none of the spectators miss a thing.

The world’s best Motocross riders, such as the recently crowned World Champion Tony Cairoli, Ryan Dungey, Ken Roczen, and Clement Desalle, will go head to head in the pro competition, alongside two of the leading figures in MX in our country: Jonathan Barragán and José Butrón, plus the 8 riders who will complete the group of 15 needed to run this competition in a race format of five-rider heats over five laps. An injury could sideline Jeffrey Herlings, and if he is not recovered for Madrid, he will be replaced by Frenchman Jordi Tixier.

4 of the 15 spots, plus one reserve spot, are still up for grabs. These can be filled by any national rider competing in the Spanish Motocross Championship, and will be awarded on the morning of October 5 following the results of the timed practice session. The younger riders will also compete in a very similar format, starting from the semifinals. The 10 participants in the 85cc category will feature local star Jorge Prado, who at just twelve years old has already won the European and World titles in 65cc.

A circuit this special could not leave the thousands of motocross fans who choose to attend the competition with their appetite unsatisfied. That is why, on Sunday the 6th, the Fans’ Day will take place, where the most passionate fans can hit the throttle and release their adrenaline by riding on four circuits of different levels until late in the day.

Huge interest in this MX event.
