Prado, Farrés and Fernández selected as the riders for the 2026 MX of Nations
Riders Prado, Farrés and Fernández will be the Spanish representatives at the 2026 MX of Nations in France.
The RFME has officially announced the list of riders who will take part in the 2026 Motocross of Nations, which will be held in Ernée (France) from October 2 to 4, so we now have the national team for one of the most special competitions of the year.
The selected riders are Jorge Prado, Guillem Farrés and Rubén Fernández, these three riders will form the starting lineup, with Francisco García and Oriol Oliver as reserve riders, under the direction of national coach Paco Rico.
Prado is facing his eighth Nations defending the colors of Spain. The MXGP rider arrives in great form after a season in the United States with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, following his absence from the last edition of the event. The rider from Lugo highlights the level of the Spanish team this season and recalls his great performance in 2023, when he fought for victory at the Nations.
Farrés is taking part for the third time in the Motocross of Nations as leader of the MX2 World Championship aboard his Triumph. The Catalan rider values the experience gained in this event and the good chemistry of a team that has already competed together in previous editions, and he arrives in Ernée—a circuit where he has not raced this season, but did last year—with the bike showing a high level of competitiveness.
Fernández is once again defending Spain at the Motocross of Nations after a season settled in the Top 5 of the MXGP World Championship. The MX Open rider values the level of the team this edition, with Farrés leading the MX2 World Championship and Prado showing his usual level, and he trusts that the combined results will allow the team to fight for the podium in Ernée, a circuit that usually has a great crowd atmosphere.
