Dani Pedrosa and the "Make a Wish" association at Estoril

The MotoGP riders have a charitable side, and among them is Dani Pedrosa, who has long been a member of the “Make a Wish” Association, which is dedicated to making the dreams of sick children come true.

So at the recent Estoril Grand Prix, Pedrosa had the good fortune to meet one of his biggest fans, a 7-year-old Greek boy named Ioannis who suffers from a serious illness.

This boy’s dream was to meet Pedrosa and the whole team, so the Honda Repsol did not put up any obstacles to the Spanish rider’s meeting with Ioannis, a great motorcycle racing fan.

Dani Pedrosa is very happy to be able to make these children’s dreams come true, as he realized that Ioannis had had a great time and felt comfortable with everyone on the team and in the pit box, so the experience was a success, as on other occasions.

Although for Pedrosa the priority is the recovery of these children, as he says on his blog:

Although the important thing would be for him to overcome the illness. I have another friend I met through Make a Wish. His name is Luca and after his first visit we have kept in touch. Every year he comes to see me in Italy, at Mugello or Misano, because he is Italian, and every time I see him he is doing better.

The truth is that it is a very lovely gesture to make other people’s dreams come true, and above all to do it gladly, so that the other person feels good.

A great support for those children and some wonderful deeds carried out by a great champion.
