Alpinestars novelties for autumn 2012 (I)

Summer is not over yet and brands are already starting to offer us their novelties for a new season. The team at Alpinestars didn’t want to be outdone and presents its wide range of new products for this autumn that is just around the corner.

Today we focus on two leather suits, two pairs of trousers, a pair of off-road boots and two sneaker models. If you want to get an idea of how much they may cost, the brand’s website lists prices in dollars, so you’ll more or less know how much they might cost in our country.

Atem leather suit: This one-piece suit offers class-leading protection, both for the track and for riding on the road. Derived from Alpinestars’ experience in MotoGP and SBK, it features top-quality materials with a very high level of safety and comfort. The suit has perforations to improve ventilation, as well as a rear hump to improve aerodynamic performance. It has a compartment in the chest area for inserting a protector and the brand’s latest-generation back protectors. It also has neoprene at the collar edge for added comfort. It is available in three colours: black-white-red, black-white and black-white-yellow.

GP-Pro leather suit: One-piece suit designed for sport bike riders. Ideal for the track and the road, with advanced protection features, strategically placed perforated leather panels to offer the maximum fit, comfort and performance. Very aerodynamic thanks to its hump, which also helps improve cooling by channelling air. Removable protectors at the elbows, shoulders, knees and shins. It also allows the chest protector and back protector to be fitted with a quick and simple installation. Its YKK zips ensure a secure closure at all times. Available in four colours: black, black-white-red, black-white and black-white-blue.

Tech ST Gore-Tex trousers: The outer weatherproof, breathable, lightweight and durable layer of Gore-Tex in these trousers gives them unmatched performance in any situation. They feature knee protectors and abrasion-resistant panels. Their three layers of textile and leather with sealed seams make them waterproof, making them the ideal trousers for any trip. They have adjustable, removable braces for added comfort, a side zip closure so boots can be worn under the trousers, a removable thermal lining and a waist zip connection to fit the brand’s jackets. Available in black.

Stella Vika trousers: Designed to meet the needs of women who ride motorcycles, they combine fashion and functionality. Tech 3 boots (Swirls): Designed for motocross / off-road, these high-performance boots are ideal for beginners thanks to their comfort and safety, but above all because of their low price. They feature a protective shin plate with a high level of impact and abrasion resistance, a flexible instep, high-grip rubber sole, four buckles with memory system offering quick release or locking, an anatomical removable inner boot and a bellows that helps prevent water ingress. Montreal sneakers: With a style typical of Formula 1, Alpinestars presents the Montreal, sneakers for everyday wear, comfortable and soft. Their lightness and fit are their distinguishing features.
