Viñales was unable to complete his schedule in Sant Boi due to injury

Today we received some bad news. Since we went to the event Maverick Viñales had at the Alcampo shopping center in Sant Boi de Llobregat, there was no one at the stand or waiting for the 2011 rookie of the year, so it surprised us that there was no news about it.

Since we were still within the autograph signing hours, it surprised us a little, so we asked the shopping center staff about the event, and they told us some bad news: it seems the Catalan rider got injured during training and left before the meeting with his fans.

Apparently, on the 25th he suffered a fall during training and hurt a leg and a finger. I should mention that this is not official information but was provided by the shopping center staff. It seems he was signing and attending to his fans for about an hour, but since he didn’t feel very well, they decided to call the day off.

We think it’s only natural that they made that decision if Viñales wasn’t feeling well. Now we await news from the team or manager about the extent of these aches and pains.

We wish him the best and a speedy recovery. For now, here are the images of the stand he had set up in the Alcampo area. If anyone attended and was able to see it, please send photos to share at equipo@plusmoto.com
