Valentino Rossi asks Santa Claus for a competitive bike
Rider Valentino Rossi asked Santa Claus for his big wish for 2012: a COMPETITIVE BIKE. Will he bring it?
Rider Valentino Rossi has gone through one of the most difficult seasons in the MotoGP World Championship. Everyone knows his first year with Ducati has been disappointing, that he will have to work hard with the red bullet to fix the problems seen in 2011 and face 2012 and the 1000cc bikes with more strength.
It must also be taken into account that Rossi is Rossi, and surely when he manages to get the bike more or less in order he will cause trouble again, although for the moment he is still in progress and fighting to achieve that setup, and for this reason he has come up with a good wish for Santa Claus, to bring him a COMPETITIVE BIKE.
After his days of rallying and four wheels, now he has to think again about two wheels. He has a lot of work ahead, but after the final stage he took part in with Loeb, he commented to our colleagues at La Gazzetta dello Sport that:
Finishing second in this rally, behind Loeb, is a good way to end the year, a year that has probably been the worst of my sporting career.
What gift would he ask Santa Claus for? A competitive bike…
Rossi has made it quite clear: he wants a competitive bike, but that is also up to him, so he has to take advantage of this lifting of the training restrictions to get his Ducati ready, together with Hayden and the test riders, and for my part I advise him to heed the recommendations of the great Carlos Checa, a Ducati champion who tested the GP in the last tests.
Rossi closed his statements with:
We have a very different bike, and I would like to see progress by February. We hope to be more competitive.
The fact that there are no restrictions on training will help us.
Do you think Rossi will win in MotoGP again?
