Torronteras is crowned National Freestyle Cup Champion in Gijón
Rider Edgar Torronteras has been crowned Champion of the RFME Spanish Freestyle Cup, after the last race held in Gijón, where although he did not win, he made his title count in the first round of the discipline.
In this second race, José Miralles took the victory, having missed the first event and showing he was in good form, but Torronteras was not willing to let this opportunity slip and held firm in second place, the position that gave him the crown of this competition.
In the high jump, the best was Víctor Córdoba, followed by Miralles and Torronteras, so the newcomer wanted to make some noise and make things difficult for Torronteras, since afterwards he went on to win the Best Trick and Freestyle, with the champion second in both zones.
So with this result Miralles claimed the victory in the event, but the title went to Edgar Torronteras, who, with a very serious performance and with the title in mind, finally came out on top, while Córdoba was runner-up and Jorge Bravo finished third overall.
The final championship standings ended with Edgar Torronteras as champion, with 18 points, followed by Víctor Córdoba with 13; Jorge Bravo with 12; and José Miralles with 10.
Congratulations Edgar Torronteras!
We will keep a close eye on Freestyle.
