Rider Toni Bou earned his second consecutive win in a round of the 2014 Trial World Championship last weekend, another success for the young rider at the Belgian Grand Prix, with an excellent second lap.
Bou finished the Grand Prix with 59 points, scoring 25 points in the first lap, 12 points in the second lap and 21 points in the final lap. This gave him his 60th career victory in the Trial World Championship, this time in Comblain-au-Pont, Belgium. It was not easy for the Repsol Honda Team rider to finish on top of the Belgian Trial Grand Prix, but after a first lap with a few extra mistakes, the Spanish rider managed to recover many points in an excellent second lap, which ultimately gave him his third victory of the season.

Meanwhile, the podium was completed by Albert Cabestany, who stayed very close to Raga’s points total but finished 3rd, scoring a total of 66 points: 26 points in his first lap, 21 points in the second and 19 points in the last lap.
With this result, Bou gains 20 more points in the World Championship standings and extends his lead over second-placed Adam Raga to four points.
Next weekend, 19 and 20 July, the sixth round of the World Championship season will take place: the British Grand Prix, held between Penrith and Carlisle, in the northwest of England, over two days of competition: Saturday and Sunday.
