Toni Bou wins his ninth World Trial Championship title in Portugal

The Repsol Honda Team is still celebrating the great success achieved by Toni Bou in Paços de Ferreira, his ninth World Champion crown, won one Grand Prix before the end of the world championship season. It is an important title, since throughout the year he maintained a tough head-to-head battle with his main rival, which forced him to raise his level even further.
In Portugal he dominated both days with extraordinary riding, keeping his points under control and minimizing mistakes to manage the event and finish at the top of the podium. After a first lap with 6 points, he completed the course without a single penalty point. In second place was Adam Raga, who fought with everything he had to try to stop Bou’s crown, but could not do so on this occasion.
The next event will take place next weekend, where the 2015 World Championship will conclude with the Spanish Trial GP, held in the Galician town of Teo (A Coruña).

Nine titles! I am very happy. Today it seemed the race could be more difficult, and in the end it turned out fairly easy. Morally, victories in these easy trials are very important and, as I said, the level of my rivals has pushed me to improve my own as well.
