Today MotoGP test at the Mugello Circuit

MotoGP World Championship riders will have a testing day today at the Mugello Circuit, all to prepare for the next event at Laguna Seca and the rest of the season.

Today the MotoGP World Championship teams continue working at the Mugello Circuit where yesterday the ninth round of the 2012 season was held, as they have a day of training to keep working on the development and fine-tuning of their respective machines in the premier class.

In principle, all the official teams are confirmed for this test, as are most of the satellite and CRT teams, so there is a lot of work ahead for all of them as they now prepare for the Laguna Seca event, while the Moto2 and Moto3 riders enjoy several weeks of summer break. In this test they will try to improve the problems they have with their respective machines, knowing for example that Honda comes with a big surprise, the MotoGP 2013 for its riders to try.

Without a doubt, the announcement by HRC about its prototype has left everyone extremely eager, since they have worked hard on this bike to solve the chattering problems the current RC212V has. Furthermore, the Japanese manufacturer has commented that if Pedrosa or Stoner prefer to ride this bike, it will be available to them as soon as possible during the season, so a step forward for Honda.

The only confirmed absences are those of the injured rider, Karel Abraham, and James Ellison, the man from Paul Bird Motorsport. For his part, Franco Battaini will join the official Ducati team to continue his development work with the Italian machine.

The test timetable is 10:00 to 13:00, and in the afternoon from 14:00 to 18:00, so there is time to work.
