Today, December 10, 2010, Shoya Tomizawa would have turned 20

Today, December 10, would have been Shoya Tomizawa’s birthday, so at Plus Moto we wanted to remember the Japanese rider who lost his life in a fatal accident this season during the Moto2 World Championship race at the Misano circuit.

Without a doubt it has been a very hard year for motorcycle racing in general, with the loss of young riders who gave their all on the track to improve and win. One of them was Tomizawa, who had started very well in the intermediate class, but whose future was cut short at Misano by a horrific accident.

We won’t go on much longer; we simply wanted to remember the Japanese rider on his birthday and once again send all our support to his family, friends and teammates, who will go through a rather difficult day.

A sad day, but we will never forget you, Shoya.
