The SPIDI brand presents its XPD XP9-R boot model
The SPIDI brand has presented its new range of boots, the XPD design, which brings all the experience gained in the most demanding competitions to its most sporty model. A top-of-the-range model has been developed for all speed enthusiasts.
The XP9-R are “racing” boots in which the R&D department of the Italian company has applied all the knowledge gained over years of equipping the best professional riders they work with around the world.
These boots feature an AGS-3 removable inner boot, designed not only to work in perfect synergy with the boot, but also to protect the foot to the maximum in any type of fall, whether sliding or from impacts. The combination of impact-absorbing zones with rigid supports takes safety to a higher level. In addition, it has reinforcements at the malleolus and carries CE EN 13634:2010 Level 2 certification, both for impact resistance and transverse rigidity.
Its outer shell was designed after hours of work in the wind tunnel, resulting in an aerodynamic shape that guarantees stability at high speeds. It is made of 1.55 mm thick microfibre with high abrasion resistance, combined with polyurethane protection at the ankle, shin and heel. The closure combines a side zip (protected by Velcro) with a micrometric quick-release adjustment.
Micro-perforations have been incorporated in the shin and heel area, which aids ventilation. The sole design was carried out with the aim of achieving the best foot position on the footrests, and it is made of anti-slip vulcanised rubber. On the other hand, these boots also feature removable magnesium sliders on the toe and resin sliders on the side of the shin.
The XP9-R are available in four colour combinations: red, black, yellow or white, with an RRP including VAT of €399.90 (VAT included).
