The Pons Kalex Moto2 will run at Cheste with Pons and Gadea

The Moto2 prototype, Pons Kalex, will run from today at the Cheste circuit to continue working on its development. After the test carried out following the Valencia Grand Prix, all the new features will now be put into practice and development will continue.

To continue the work, Axel Pons will once again be on board, getting back on the bike just two weeks after undergoing surgery to have the pins removed from both legs following the accident at Jerez. But he will not be the only one, as Sergio Gadea will also be testing the Moto2.

The Valencian rider has a very clear goal: to be in the new category next season, and he must make the most of this opportunity offered by the Pons Racing team, although it will be difficult because it is his first experience with this bike.

Pons Racing considers the possibility of having Gadea on board in the future interesting, as it would complete the pairing that would defend the colours of the Spanish team in 2010.

Although winter may seem long, in the end there will be little effective time before the next season begins.

Since we are working in a new category, it is very important to have a factory at our disposal to develop the prototype as quickly and as effectively as possible. In this sense, Kalex is doing an excellent job of development, with an extraordinary level of technology.

The Valencia test will be another step in this process that we are carrying out together, and we are convinced it will yield very good results.
