The new Honda machine for 2008

fireblade-11002.jpg

The Japanese brand Honda wants to win back fans of one-liter superbikes, and the chosen model for this is the new 2008 creation, the Honda CBR 1100 RR Fireblade.

The styling shows the greatest acquisition in aerodynamics, along with another novelty: the turn signals integrated into the mirrors, as well as the new air intakes found in the front fairing.

The engine weight has been reduced by about two kilos despite the increased displacement, thanks to pistons that weigh the same as those of the previous version but can reach higher revs more quickly.

Another feature added to this magnificent machine is the anti-hop clutch, which will make gear changes much easier. It also includes some references to its MotoGP relative, since the exhaust system exits on the right side of the bike.

The hard work has mainly gone into reducing the bike’s weight, and this goal has been achieved. As a result, we find a new Honda CBR 1100 for 2008, aimed at fans of 1000cc Hi-Sport bikes.

Now we just have to wait to see it fly along Spanish roads.
