The Kawasaki Racing Team SBK of Sykes and Baz presented in Barcelona
Yesterday the Kawasaki Racing Team, from the World Superbike Championship, was officially presented in Barcelona, with its two riders, Tom Sykes and Loris Baz, and of course the new machine, the Ninja ZX-10R.
Yesterday the Kawasaki Racing Team of the World Superbike Championship in Barcelona was officially presented, where we were able to see the new and spectacular Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R ridden by Tom Sykes and Loris Baz.
All of this took place at the prestigious Institute of Art and Design, FAD in the Catalan capital, where we were able to see the colours and technology of what will be two of the favourite bikes for the 2013 SBK season, especially the one that will carry the “66” on its fairing.
All the guests and press were able to enjoy a great afternoon of official launch, all with their sights set far away, specifically on Australia, at the Phillip Island Circuit, where on 24 February all the action of SBK 2013 will get underway. So everyone followed closely the speeches of Sykes, Baz, Guim Roda (team manager), Shigemi Tanaka (Kawasaki’s director in Europe), and also Steve Guttridge (manager of Kawasaki Racing Europe).
A presentation full of emotion and with great eagerness to see these two beasts of the two wheels at the Australian circuit, since they will be the protagonists of this season, especially after seeing how the last season went, and that just 0.5 points left the Briton without the crown, so the 66 is going to come with great desire to win the title. Baz also closed a 2012 campaign worth framing; the Frenchman has learned quickly and will be at the front.
Maximum tension between BMW-Kawasaki-Ducati and Honda.
