The Dakar and its charitable side with the Repsol Foundation and Dr. Mir

The Dakar not only entails the toughest rally in the world, but for years the Repsol Foundation and Dr. Mir have cooperated to do their utmost to help the most needy areas this competition visits, on this occasion Peru.

So taking advantage of the Dakar caravan’s passage, the Repsol Foundation, with the help of the great doctor of our riders, Xavier Mir, are doing everything possible for those people who need it most. The initiative is already under way, on the eve of the Dakar’s start; we already have the first visitors on their way.

The entire project is coordinated by the Ministry of Health of that country and with the help of the companies Matachana, Prisma and Medcomtech, sharing the common goal of helping four healthcare centers located along the rally route. Some of the most important figures for the Dakar are cooperating and giving their effort to this project, among them Nani Roma and many of our motorcycle riders, who always seize any opportunity to support initiatives as important as this one in Peru.
