The brand BMW presented one of its new models, the K1600GT Sport at the BMW Motorrad Days 2013 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, surrounded by great expectation. As part of one of the most luxurious ranges of the German brand, it drew a great deal of attention.
The 6-cylinder engine delivers 160 hp (118 kW) and a maximum torque of 175 Nm. Combining this touring model with a great many options, it creates a Sport with new features and a very dynamic design, with that lively orange tone that contrasts with the black in some areas.
A touring sport that will meet many needs, with great performance for long distances and that ideal sporty touch. Besides the color combination, we must also note the new athletic and very comfortable seat, which combines perfectly with the packs the German brand currently offers to finish each model to your taste.
The passenger footrests are also painted black, as are the wheels, and it shines a great deal. The fairing is somewhat lower than the standard GT, giving it a more dynamic and sporty look. It is a novel design which, together with the features we will get to know and confirm, everything to get to know this model in greater depth in a few days. We are facing one of the high-end jewels of the BMW brand.
The prices are not official, but it is clear it will not be a machine available to every budget. We welcome the K1600 GT Sport.
